This year, Center for Social Change hosted two staff members Appreciation Parties at Martin’s West in Baltimore, with more than 300 staff attending. These parties only get better each year! This year’s parties were the best, so far, Center for Social Change has ever had. The venue itself was so beautiful with great decor and nice chandeliers. We got a live six-person music band which did such a phenomenal job at playing famous songs that many enjoyed dancing to. We also had many delicious hors d’oeuvres and several main courses, buffet style and sides. The desert ice cream parfait made the night so much better.
Center for Social Change gave out a lot of prizes each night of the events. We gave out 20 gift cards for Royal Farms gas stations, 8 iPads, 4 TVs and two $5000 checks for a round trip for two to anywhere in the world. We also gave out special awards to outstanding employees, many of which have been with us for more than 15 years, and to those who have gone above and beyond every day.
Although everything was perfect at the parties, what truly mattered was the hard work and dedication that each staff puts in day in and day out working with the individuals. Even with the challenges with the pandemic, they proved to be such great HEROES. To our staff: Thank you for everything you do!
