For the very first time, we took fifteen children along with their fifteen staff to the beach in Ocean City, Maryland. We rented a charter bus that picked up everyone from the main office at 7am. We reached OC at around 10am and that’s when all the fun in the sun started. The children had such a blast in the water with the waves. For many of them, this was their first time at a beach, and they were just so excited and enjoyed every moment there. Once tired of the water, they went for a walk on the boardwalk, grabbed food, ice cream, drinks and even did some shopping at the stores.
One of the children even purchased 3 hermit crabs, which he immediately named. Time flew by and next thing we know it was time to return home. We reached back at 8pm and everyone slept very well that night. We also took some pictures of each with yellow neon t-shirts that we had made for everyone. The CSC logo was on the front, and the back had a cute cartoon shark. The pictures were printed and put in frames in their own bedrooms.
