Our annual Center for Social Change Christmas home decoration contest was an absolute hit this year. Every house did a wonderful job decorating this season and displaying their creativity and spreading holiday cheer. It’s heartwarming to know that everyone put in so much effort to make the holiday season special for the individuals living in the houses.
Staff members were excited to participate and showcase their Christmas spirit by sending pictures of their decor to the Director of Programs, Dana Dimas. She was delighted with all the submissions and a wonderful slideshow with all the pictures combined was created and played at the Christmas party on December 20th, 2023.
The awarded certificate recognized their hard work and dedication in putting up beautiful decorations, including Christmas trees, lights inside and outside the houses, wall decorations, Christmas tablecloths, chair covers and much more.
But it doesn’t end there. Each house also has the opportunity to gather everyone on February 2, 2024 and order food from a restaurant of their choice to enjoy a meal together with the individuals as a reward for their efforts.
