Baugher’s Farm Visit 2023

Center for Social Change took a group of children to Baugher’s Farm in Westminster, Maryland on Friday October 20, 2023. While visiting the petting zoo at the farm, the kids got to interact with all sorts of animals ranging from donkeys to lamb. They also went on a hay ride across 60 acres of the farm to the sunflower field. The group had a blast walking through the sunflower field! The pumpkin patch was a joy to experience as children each picked a pumpkin from the vine. Despite the rain, they didn’t let it dampen their spirits and had a wonderful time playing outdoors. The farm’s activities included a two-story barn slide that was a highlight to the children’s day. Afterwards, the children took their pumpkins home to carve and decorate them for the Halloween season.
