Volunteer Opportunities

Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed by the events of the world? Do you feel like you want to do something, but you’re not sure what you can do? Are you looking for activities that would satisfy you as well as benefit the community? Do you really want to make a difference? Center for Social Change has a solution. CSC needs caring persons who wish to give their time, talents, resources and energy to help individuals with developmental disabilities live more productive lives in their communities. You may not be able to do everything, but you can do a lot. A very wise man once said, ‘nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little."

Volunteers are needed to enhance:
Our Residential Programs:
CSC operates several in the community for individuals with developmental disablities, autism, and other disabilities. We provide services to our children and adults with 24 hour supervision, medication administration, and assistance in daily living skills, help with homework, leisure time activities, and companionship. We always need additional help.

Our Supported Employment Program:
CSC provides vocational training with the goal of teaching individuals the skills needed to acquire and maintain a job.

Volunteers are needed to serve as Friendly Visitors, Arts and Crafts Helpers, Job Coaches, Pen Pals, Office Assistants, and lots more. Selected through a screening process which includes references and background checks, volunteers receive staff support through CSC Orientation and position specific training. Once appointed as a CSC Volunteer, you will find your experience both rewarding and fulfilling.
